The weekend so far :)

Over the last few days I have been reading my Uni book and also doing some stitching.  After the frog coming to visit twice, I decided to put down my HAED and work on another project, Company of Wolves by DMC.  I have also put the Thomas the Tank I stitched for my son into a frame.

More on HAED

Yesterday I managed to do another 800 stitches and then had a very unwelcome visitor.  The Frog.  I ended up having to unpick and restitch the 400 stitches that I messed up, except I didn't quite managed to restitch the 400 so that is today's task.  Here is a pic of what its like at the moment.

Update on Thomas the Tank and Frosty :)

These past two nights I've taken off to do some much earned stitching.  Yesterday I made a note of what projects I've had on the go these last few months and thought it about time I got a wriggle on with some of them. Tonight I managed to finish turning Frosty the Snowman into a little hanging ornament and have also done more on the border of Thomas the Tank.

Frosty the Snowman is stitched on 18ct Red aida.
Around the 3 sides of the ornament, every other stitch has a seed bead attached.

All I have left to do on Thomas now is the bottom part of the border, he can then be washed, dried, ironed and framed to put on my little boys wall.  I hope to have Thomas finished in my stitching session tomorrow night :)

Since my last update

Since my last update, I haven't really done a great deal of stitching, though I have managed to nearly complete my assignment for Uni (just a few more daft questions to answer). However, I have managed to do a little stitching and completed this little fella. I do not know why I stitched him, or what I'm going to turn him into, as he is rather small. He is stitched on 18ct Red Aida.

TUSAL 3rd April

I'm a little bit late in posting an update on my TUSAL jar, so here it is :) I haven't done any stitching in a little while as I've been bogged down with Uni work lol. Hopefully after this assignment is in, I can do some more on my HAED, which I haven't touched in over a month :(

It has been a while

It has been quite a while since I last posted an update due to me being so busy with my science course.  I did however manage to start and finish a new little make. I used the design from The World of Cross Stitching issue 175.  It was a hanging design but I just loved the cupcakes, so decided to put them onto a bookmark to use with my science books lol. Here is a picture of the finished article (which goes towards my new make a month).
