My weekends Stitching

Since my last update, I have managed to finish a biscornu for a swap I joined over on Swap Bot.  It was stitched on 14ct white sparkly aida using metallic red and metallic black DMC threads.  I think it turned out rather lovely, and the thread didn't cause too much bother either :)

I have also done a bit more work on my WIP: Company of Wolves, and have made a start on the bottom of page 1. Here is my progress up until last night :)

I can really see the wolves face starting to grow now, which is spurring me on with it :)

I doubt I will get much stitching done over the next week now as I have a Uni assignment due in on 2nd June and I've barely started it (hehe), so have to get cracking on with that. As soon as I have more updates either stitching wise or Uni wise, I shall update.

Halfway through another week...

...and not much stitching has been done to be honest, tut tut.  I have an assignment due in 2 weeks time (which I'm yet to even start) and I'm about to finish off a biscornu for my 3rd swap bot exchange.  Will post a pic shortly as I've still got the buttons to add to it, but I definitely think it is one of my faves to stitch :)  I'm also waaay behind in my monthly makes and monthly biscornu but as soon as I get a free couple of days I will definitely be getting back into it :)

Stitching updates for the past week

This past week has been a somewhat chaotic and awful one, whatever could go wrong, went wrong lol.  To keep myself a little sane I have managed some stitching.  Here is some of what I've done this week so far.

On Friday night at about 12am, we had a rather good thunderstorm.  I managed to grab my camera towards the end of it and took a video of the lightning.  Here are the snapshots :)

The majority of the lightning strikes went for the top of the church that you can faintly see :)

As it is once again New Moon (3rd May 2011) I have remembered to take a picture of my TUSAL jar hehe. I have done a fair bit of stitching lately, but can't show you what i've been stitching just yet :D
