Good Morning everyone. It is currently 1.30am and I have a finish to show you.
I have finished stitching Mr Snowman Ornament from Joan Elliott's book "Wit and Wisdom", which was started on 13th August 2013.
He is stitched on 14ct Plastic Canvas using DMC and Kreinik threads, with the addition of Mill Hill beads.
I am delighted with him, although my hands are now rather sore after working with the canvas. All I have left to do now is put a hanger on him and back him and he is ready to pop on my tree this Christmas :)
One WIP down, a good few more to go.
The next project I will be working on will be 'Enterprise Sweet Enterprise', as I promised dear Hubby that I would have it stitched up in no time.
I will spend a day or so working on it and then show an update on that.
Hope we are all well and happily crafting away.
xXx

ReplyDeleteI love this little ornie that you've just finished - is the canvas a bit of a struggle for the hands to work with?
Happy Stitching, Anthea
Hi Athena, for me the canvas was a struggle as I'm used to holding the frame and not the fabric. I think he is worth it though :) Thank you for your comment. xx
DeleteI love your little snowman!
ReplyDeleteI made one of those Mill Hill ornaments about a year ago. I think it was one of the jewel ornament series. OMG! I remember how much work it was!
