These past two nights I've taken off to do some much earned stitching. Yesterday I made a note of what projects I've had on the go these last few months and thought it about time I got a wriggle on with some of them. Tonight I managed to finish turning Frosty the Snowman into a little hanging ornament and have also done more on the border of Thomas the Tank.
Frosty the Snowman is stitched on 18ct Red aida.
Around the 3 sides of the ornament, every other stitch has a seed bead attached.
All I have left to do on Thomas now is the bottom part of the border, he can then be washed, dried, ironed and framed to put on my little boys wall. I hope to have Thomas finished in my stitching session tomorrow night :)
Your stitching is great... well done.
ReplyDeleteLove Thomas - looks like you have put your son's initials on the top train carriages - what a great idea!

Yes I put the initials T S R on the carriages of the little blue train at the top. I did forget to say that it was stitched on 14ct white aida in DMC threads.
ReplyDeleteWell done Stephie! I wont show Thomas to Mark otherwise he would be on his way to your house ... rofl :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your snowman Ornie too xxx
