Good Morning and an Update

Good Morning to you all!! I hope you all had a great weekend and that lots of productive crafting was achieved.

Over the last few days I have been working on my Joan Elliott Mystery Faces SAL and trying to get caught up. I'm glad to say that I am slowly getting there with it, but as yet, I am still undecided whether I want to stitch the charts for the little squares or not.

Here is my progress over the last few days and how it currently looks right now.

The 3rd Large face completed

The 4th Large face which is in progress

How the whole piece is looking right now.

I am hoping to have this face completed in the next few days and I also need to finish the border.

Once the next chart has been released, I will make a decision on what I want to put into the little boxes.

I hope you all have a productive week.

Until next time

Evening all!!

Good Evening to you all!! I hope you have all had a productive weekend, I haven't really as I've been busy trying to cheer up the little one who has chicken pox.

On the plus side of the chicken pox..it is now going away HOORRAYYYYY!!!! I will be so glad when this is done and dusted as I have literally had enough of germs haha.

I have come up with a few pieces that I need to get done before I start university in September and with a bit of luck and more than 5 minutes I can achieve just that.

The projects I am hoping to complete are:

Spring Fairy and the Joan Elliott Mystery Faces SAL that is on Facebook. That will then leave me with 2 smaller projects and 3 HAED's on the go LOL. (OK, one HAED is a story keep so is much smaller).

Hopefully I will have another update for you at some point this week so until next time I hope you have a very crafty Sunday evening and week.

Until next time

Chicken pox galore and an update

Good Afternoon to you all!! Isn't this weather we are having lovely? I for one am enjoying not being so cold all the time haha.

I hope you are having a better week than I am at the moment.

The chicken pox virus currently has us in its grasp and now both my daughters have it, and needless to say they are itching like crazy.

My littlest daughter doesn't look too impressed that I had to cover her with calamine lotion today as can be seen here:

I can't even run the brush through her hair at the moment due to her having them all on her scalp too.

Needless to say, I will be glad when all this is over as I haven't had a great deal of sleep lately with them all being up and down throughout the night with fevers and itching.

I have managed a little bit of stitching since my last update, but it isn't much as I've been on cuddle duty and school run for my little boy.

Here is how Spring Fairy is looking at the moment:

I hope you are all having a productive week, even in this sunshine we are having here is South Wales lately.

Until next time (when hopefully all the chicken pox will have gone away!)

WIP Update: Spring Fairy

Good Evening to you all!!

I am here again with another update on Spring Fairy. I seem to have caught the bug to finish her although the stitching has been spotty on some days due to my son having caught the chicken pox.....it has been a very germ high Easter break this year lol.

He is now on the mend thanks to lots of calamine lotion and an antihistamine medicine to help the itching and help him sleep.

I am now 3/4 of the way done with Spring Fairy, which for me is the third of the set of 4. I am now working away on the last page of her, and all I will have to do at the end is the beading.

Here is how she is looking now:

With a bit of luck I will hopefully have a finish very soon. It will be my first finish for a long long while.

Until next time.
